The confirmation came from Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares during the presentation of the company's financial results. The B10 will be the first model from the Chinese brand to be manufactured at the Spanish facility.

Riddara, the electrified pickup truck brand of Geely Holding Group, is evaluating the establishment of a production facility in Thailand as part of its expansion strategy in Southeast Asia.

According to a report by the Bangkok Post, the company is exploring the possibility of building a local electric vehicle factory in Thailand to strengthen its competitiveness in the pickup segment, one of the country's largest automotive markets. Thailand is widely regarded as the world's second-largest pickup truck market.

"This country is an opportunity market for the pickup segment. Even though sales have slowed, in the long term, we are confident that electric pickups will continue to grow because they save more energy compared with those running on fossil fuels," said Cao Feng, General Manager of Riddara's Thai subsidiary.

Electric vehicle sales in Thailand rose by about 80% in 2025 to reach 120,301 units, according to local data. However, Riddara's current market presence remains limited, with the company reporting sales of around 1,000 electric pickup trucks in the country last year.

The brand aims to increase sales to between 3,000 and 5,000 units this year and plans to introduce additional models, including a single-cab pickup variant, to expand its lineup.

Riddara is also expanding its distribution and service network. The company currently operates 17 combined showrooms and service centres and two standalone service facilities in Thailand, with plans to expand the network to 38 outlets during the year.

The brand entered the Thai market in October 2024 with the RD6 electric pickup. In November 2025 it introduced the Econ variant, also known as the RD6 Econ in international markets and King Kong in China. Both models are offered as battery-electric vehicles.

The RD6 has a driving range of up to 455 kilometres under the NEDC test cycle, while the Econ version is rated at up to 461 kilometres. Production currently takes place at a facility in Zibo, Shandong Province, China.

If established, a Thai production site could also support exports to other Southeast Asian markets. Riddara has begun marketing activities in Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines and is evaluating potential launches in Malaysia. The company is also present in markets in the Middle East and Latin America.
