On September 16, BYD officially launched the BYD Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition 175KM Long-Range version, priced between ¥179,800 and ¥199,800. This marks a major milestone for the Tang series, which has been a best-selling SUV line for over ten years with more than 830,000 units sold.
With five flagship strengths-design, luxury, intelligence, safety, and efficiency-the new Tang DM-i 175KM Edition is the most comprehensive Tang ever released. It carries more than 130 standard features, including the innovative TBC High-Speed Blowout Stabilization System and the Cloud Chassis C intelligent damping suspension. BYD positions this model as the top choice for B-segment family SUVs, combining all-round performance with long-term reliability.

The BYD Tang DM-i 175KM Edition enhances its visual appeal with new exterior and interior options. It introduces the Liuguang Silver paint and Xiapei Red interior, reflecting a strong fusion of modern design and traditional Asian aesthetics. The optional black styling package with darkened wheels delivers a sporty look favored by younger buyers.
Inside, the Tang features a modern cockpit. A smart electronic shifter improves convenience, while essential physical buttons ensure quick access and safe blind operation. The cabin also includes a large 6.9L car refrigerator, capable of cooling and heating within -6°C to 50°C. The fridge supports both button and voice control, and it can remain active for up to 12 hours after the engine shuts off, enhancing practicality for families on long journeys.
