Voyah Passion L PHEV Launched Starting At 39,600 USD: 650 Hp, 5C Charging, 1,400 km Combined Range

On December 10, Dongfeng's Voyah brand launched its Passion L plug-in hybrid sedan in China, available in two trims with a price range of 279,900 to 309,900 yuan (39,600 to 43,800 USD). The new car features an 800V architecture, dual-motors, Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.0, and 1,400 km comprehensive range.

Positioned as a mid-to-large sedan, the Voyah Passion L measures with a 3010 mm wheelbase. Its curb weight is 2,370 kg.

 

The all-aluminum chassis adopts a front double-wishbone and a rear five-link independent suspension.

 

The onboard Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.0 advanced driving system is supported by a 192-line roof lidar, three 4D millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars.

 

The Voyah Passion L is built on an 800V architecture and features a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine (model DFMC15TE3) and dual electric motors. The fuel tank capacity is 51L.

 

The engine has a maximum power and torque output of 105 kW (141 hp) and 220 Nm, while the front and rear electric motors have 150 kW (201 hp)/300 Nm and 230 kW (308 hp)/395 Nm, respectively.

 

Inside, the Voyah Passion L adopts a symmetrical layout, decorated with wood trim and leather materials. A 16.1-inch 3K screen is centrally located, housing Huawei's HarmonySpace 5 intelligent cockpit system.

 

The cockpit also includes a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 39-inch AR-HUD, and a 50W wireless charging pad for mobile phones. A 6.6L refrigerator is embedded under the center console with a temperature range of -6℃ to 50℃.
