Maserati is reportedly offering substantial discounts on its Folgore electric vehicle lineup in the United States, with price reductions of up to $85,000 on select models as the brand seeks to move unsold 2025 inventory.

According to a report by CarsDirect, the automaker issued guidance to dealerships outlining incentives under a "Folgore EV Assistance Cash" programme. Maserati has not publicly announced the discounts.

The largest reductions apply to the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore and Maserati GranCabrio Folgore, whose list prices typically range from about $200,000 to $208,000. The reported incentives would lower prices to roughly $115,000 and $123,000 respectively-still within the luxury segment but significantly below original pricing.

The Maserati Grecale Folgore electric SUV is also said to qualify for incentives of about $40,000, reducing its price from approximately $121,290 to around $81,290. At those levels, the electric variants of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio would become cheaper than their gasoline counterparts in the U.S., while the Grecale EV would be only slightly more expensive than the petrol version.

There is no indication that similar discounts will be offered in Europe or other markets. The incentives appear to be limited to U.S. dealerships for the time being, reflecting slower-than-expected demand for high-end electric vehicles in the luxury segment.
