Li Auto's CEO Li Xiang positions the all-new Li L9 not just as a flagship SUV, but as the starting point of embodied intelligence robots for everyday life.

February 5 - Li Xiang, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Li Auto, wrote that when the company was founded in 2015, the team asked a fundamental question: What is the ultimate form of a car? While most would answer "a faster, smarter means of transportation," Li Auto's answer was clear-a robot.
In June 2022, the Li L9 was officially launched, marking the first mass-production deployment of Li Auto's self-developed XCU (Central Domain Controller). Li Xiang emphasized that features such as the refrigerator, large display, and sofa-style seating were not superficial add-ons, but part of a deliberate shift-transforming the car from a tool into a true living space.
According to Li Xiang, the upcoming all-new Li L9 will evolve into an intelligent agent. With a complete technology stack-eyes, brain, heart, nervous system, and limbs-the vehicle will move beyond being a passive tool to become an active companion. It will be able to accurately identify users, understand their needs, and proactively provide services. Li believes that every family in the future deserves such an intelligent partner.
He further noted that 2026 will mark the beginning of Li Auto's second decade. The all-new Li L9 will not only be an outstanding vehicle, but also a groundbreaking product in embodied intelligence robotics.
Industry spy shots and reports indicate that the new Li L9 will receive major upgrades across key areas including intelligent driving, smart cockpit systems, electric powertrain (three-electric system), and chassis architecture. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle's length is expected to increase to approximately 5.3 meters, delivering a more spacious and comfortable cabin experience.
Even more notably, the all-new Li L9 is expected to feature Li Auto's newly developed in-house chip, paired with a next-generation range extender and electric motors, providing powerful yet highly efficient performance.
