The Song Ultra EV initially appeared in January, featured in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 403rd batch of new product announcements.

As BYD's first B-segment electric SUV in the Dynasty lineup, the Song Ultra EV offers substantial dimensions: 4,850mm in length, 1,910mm in width, 1,670mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,840mm. These measurements ensure ample interior space and cargo flexibility, catering to family needs and diverse travel scenarios.

The vehicle is equipped with BYD's lithium iron phosphate Blade batteries and is available in two rear-wheel-drive configurations with single motors producing peak outputs of 240kW and 270kW. Both versions can achieve a top speed of 210 km/h. For advanced driving assistance, the Song Ultra EV offers an optional LiDAR sensor and is expected to come with the "God's Eye B" system (DiPilot 300), enabling city navigation assistance.

Although official range figures remain undisclosed, industry estimates suggest that the higher-powered variant will deliver a CLTC range of approximately 550 to 600 km, while the lower-powered version may achieve 600 to 650 km.

The vehicle is slated for release in the second quarter of 2026, with an anticipated price range of CNY 200,000 to 250,000.
