Electric vehicle industry development

The United States led all other markets with 7,931 electric vehicles sold worldwide, up 28 percent from the previous month. The figures for other markets were 4,240 units in Japan, 2,056 in France, and 1,284 in Germany. In China, just 235 electric vehicles were sold, down 31 percent from 343 in the previous quarter.
Japan will be the industry leader, producing 779,000 electric vehicles by 2017, accounting for 9.7% of its total vehicle production. Germany and the United States are also likely to push electric vehicle production to 218,300 and 362,300 units, accounting for 3.55 percent and 3 percent of the total automotive market, respectively. Production in China is likely to reach 273,150 vehicles during that period, or just 1 percent of total vehicle production.
With the continuous intensification of competition in the electric vehicle industry, mergers and acquisitions and capital operations among large electric vehicle enterprises are becoming more and more frequent, and outstanding domestic electric vehicle enterprises are paying more and more attention to the research of the industry market, especially the in-depth study of the development environment of enterprises and the change of customer demand trends. Because of this, a large number of domestic excellent electric vehicle brands have risen rapidly and gradually become the leader in the electric vehicle industry.
